Ground beef and burgers can be stored refrigerated with the Fischer Farms seal intact 2 weeks from the pack date indicated on the package. For products that have lost their vacuum seal or are not vacuum sealed, or if you do not expect to use a product within 2 weeks, we recommend freezing until ready to use.
For safety, cook until the internal temperature is 160°F. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
Steaks can be stored refrigerated with the Fischer Farms seal intact for 4 weeks from the pack date indicated on the package. For products that have lost their vacuum seal or are not vacuum sealed, or if you do not expect to use a product within 4 weeks, we recommend freezing until ready to use.
Depending on your doneness preference, cook steaks 125°F for rare, 135°F for medium rare, 145°F for medium, 150°F for medium well, or 160°F and up for well done.

For products that have lost their vacuum seal or are not vacuum sealed, or if you do not expect to use a product within 5 weeks, we recommend freezing until ready to use.
