Our Southern Indiana farm has been in the Fischer family for five generations. What began as a small family farm is now 750 acres of rolling hills, perfectly suited to raising natural Indiana beef.
Since 2004, we’ve offered local meat delivery to those who, like us, reject commercial farming’s unsustainable practices, normalization of additives and fillers, and overuse of hormones and antibiotics. We’re proud to offer sustainably raised meat that isn’t just delicious — but that you can feel good about eating, too.
We’ve always worked with our local family-owned butcher, Sander Processing. They’ve grown alongside us, helping us adapt to our customers’ needs along the way.
Over the years, we’ve connected with other local Indiana farms to expand our offerings. Sustainability doesn’t just mean raising our own natural beef with the environment in mind, but building a network of like-minded farmers and growers to create a one-stop shop of local Indiana goods.

It’s important to us to educate the general public about climate-smart farming, and we also work with researchers at the state and national level in the areas of breeding, life cycle analysis, feed nutrition, soil health, cover cropping, and water quality. Sustainability is so important to our farm, we’re even partnering with the USDA on a 5-year research project on climate-smart beef.
Dave is our Farm Manager. He focuses on raising our cattle naturally — without excess antibiotics or hormones. He also spearheads all sustainability practices on our farm.
Orders and fulfillment are Diana’s domain. She oversees hundreds of orders each month, relying on our wonderful team and our efficient home-built computer system. These efficiencies and economies of scale enable our farm to offer premium Indiana meat delivery at reasonable prices.
If you’ve eaten our natural Indiana beef in a restaurant or purchased it in a store, you have Joseph to thank. He heads up our relationships with wholesale and retail customers and explores new and innovative ways to connect customers with the farm.
