Farm Tidbits- IU Sustainability Partnership

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of Indiana University sustainability representatives for a tour and lots of discussion. We have been working with IU for many years now on bringing our sustainability practices into the classroom by partnering with various groups on campus.

2-3 times per year, we will host a group of staff and students at our farm to show new practices that we've started on the farm and introduce any new members to what we are doing. We feel like this is such a valuable way to educate students with "real-world" examples of how agriculture can be sustainable. We often brainstorm with different groups about new opportunities to continue to increase the impact of our sustainability efforts with ideas that they bring to the table from their research and studies.
