This Smoked Boneless Turkey Breast recipe is such a simple way to enjoy turkey, you will wonder why you don't do it more often. Actually, as I sliced this cooked, boneless turkey breast that exact thought crossed my mind as I sampled the first end slice for myself: this was so easy WHY don't I make it more often!
Our boneless turkey breast is perfect for holidays when you don't want or need to make the whole bird, for a weeknight meal, or for when you are craving a nice turkey sandwich. Once cooked, the boneless turkey breast slices easily and it very simple to prepare!
I smoked this boneless turkey breast on a pellet grill. You could also make it on a traditional gas grill (recipe) or in the oven (recipe). If you have a bit of chicken or turkey stock, you could even make this in a slow cooker just as you would chicken breasts- 8/10 hours on low or 4/6 hours on high.
Here I placed the boneless turkey breast on a sheet of non-stick foil, drizzled with a bit of coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper, and placed on a hot (350 degree) grill for 1 hour OR until a thermometer reaches 160 degrees. Promptly remove from the grill and allow to rest and reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
Allow to cool until you can slice it- and enjoy!
Just as you would season chicken, you can season this blank slate of a white meat!
