Quick Air Fryer Cooked Bacon

Making our uncured thick-cut bacon in the air fryer IS as easy and mess free as it looks! Though models do vary, the basic procedure is the same. Keep an eye on it, it's ok to pull the basket out briefly to take a quick look.  Also, do not overlap the bacon. This means you may have to cook a few rounds to get through your pound of bacon, but the outcome will be better.

There were several test batches to get to the exact degree of doneness we were looking for, but we found, with our thick cut bacon, the sweet spot is below:

In the basket of a typical 7-8QT air fryer do the following:

• Preheat air fryer at 375 degrees
• Place strips in a single layer in basket
• Cook for 15-17 minutes for crisp finish
• Remove and cool on paper towel lined plate
