Pork Ramen

  • Ramen Seasoning
  • (1 tablespoon) neutral oil (vegetable, avocado, or canola
  • (6-8) Scallions
  • (8 cups) Water
  • (1/3 cup) Soy Sauce or Tamari
  • (4-6 oz) Dry Ramen Noodles
  • (1 1/2 lbs) Pork Shoulder Steaks


  • Preheat large pot on medium-high height. Add oil.
  • Cut pork into 2 inch chunks.
  • Brown pork on one side, about 15 minutes. Turn pork.
  • Add spice kit, white parts of scallions, water, and soy sauce.
  • Turn heat to high to bring to a boil. Add ramen. Cover, turn off heat, and allow ramen to sit until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Shred pork with two forks. Spoon into bowls, sprinkle with green chopped scallions.

Serve with soft boiled eggs, bean sprouts, nori.
