Sorghum Sudangrass Grazing

This group of mother cows and calves were happy to move into this sorghum sudangrass field this week. 

As you can see, this grass grows VERY tall and is great for eating during the summer. It is not frost tolerant but will provide lots of good eating till this fall. 

This grass is also great at adding organic matter to the soil!
