Rain! We finally got some much needed rain!
1.1 inches Saturday evening and another .6 Wednesday night.
It’s amazing how a drought can negatively effect my mood, just ask Diana. With everything else this year a drought is the least we need. Gearing up for the universities to return and to ramp back up our production.
Recently, we began working with a school corporation that is close to home. So close in fact, that we can sometimes even hear students playing at recess from across the fields- Southeast Dubois County School Corporation.

Fischer Farms has spent the last 20 years forming relationships with area farmers and producers to help them expand their market for their local and sustainably raised products. Recently with the support of the Climate Smart Commodities grant from the USDA, the number of farmers has grown to over 35 with plans to assist over 70 farmers by 2028.
