This week we used our recently built compost tea extractor to pull the bacteria & fungal spores from the Johnson-Su compost we bought from a farmer in Arkansas. We then dribbled the tea in the corn seeds as we planted. The goal being to reduce fertilizer by providing a flourishing microbe community. We also gave some to a friend to do a small experiment on his sweet corn patch. Will be interesting!
