Finished making grass silage this week. Wet weather has kept us out of the fields. Grass silage is just like grass clippings from a lawn, except our lawn mower has 550hp and blows it directly onto a truck. We then pack it airtight and let it ferment for a couple months. Makes great winter feed for cows!
March was full of excitement from one heck of a run by Purdue all way to the finals to a lightning strike on the farm!
