Diana and I had a productive weekend planting 12 fruit trees. We plan to manage them in espalier fashion and grow them organically. They are standard sized trees that we will “train” to grow horizontally on the fence we will install later this year. This approach came highly recommended for organic production so we can easily use organic sprays to control pests. We will keep you updated on the progress of our little apple, pear & peach orchard.  Grapes & pecans are next.
