Many of you may have seen this picture we shared on Facebook. One of our customers noted how appropriate it was for this black/white speckled calf to be born this week with so much racial tension. I like his suggestion to call the calf “embrace” as we should embrace all. Thanks Joe Grilliot for your awesome suggestion! So still calving on the farm and the weather is supposed to finally stop raining for 5 days straight! Going to start cutting the ryegrass on Sunday evening and hope to finish up by Wednesday and then plant these same fields to corn for silage. Will be a busy busy week!
