Bobcats

We caught this picture on one of our farm cameras of a bobcat. We have been seeing them more and more over the years. Cattle are thankfully pretty instinctually protective of their calves. When they notice a potential predator (bobcat, coyote, etc.) the mothers will line up in a tight row with their calves behind them and try to scare the predator off. We have seen them do this when we have go on walks through the farm with pet dogs haha. We also believe the increase in bobcats has cut down on the deer population on our farm. We don't have any real data to back it up but we seem to see less of them.
